Guarantee and Returns Policy

As we have grown as a business, our guarantee has been put to the test many times allowing us to show our total commitment to your complete satisfaction and our willingness to stand behind every product we sell. Whether your purchase includes an elastic or a hand crafted silk chiffon rose, your satisfaction is guaranteed. It really is never a problem.

Why do we do this? We know it is difficult to decide if a new type of design will work in your hair just by looking at a photograph. We would like you to have confidence in trying new styles and have fun experimenting. Some of our designs are expensive and we know you might like to treat yourself to something special, knowing that you will be able to wear it and love it for years to come. We give you 28 days to decide if your new hair accessories work for your hair, so that you can be absolutely sure that your purchase is perfect.

Don't people take advantage of our guarantee? No! It helps us know when things are not going the way they should, so that we can discuss problems with our suppliers and fix issues quickly. But better than that, we have been blessed by having the most delightful and gracious customers. Delivery
For orders within the UK and the European Union, our standard shipping charge is £3.85, with orders over £35 qualifying for free delivery. Express insured delivery within the UK and European Union is £8.50.

For the rest of the world, International Shipping is £12.90. 
            

How to Return or Exchange:
1. There is no need to telephone us when sending us a return.
2. Please note on the packing slip enclosed with your parcel whether you would like an exchange or a refund.
3. Please send the parcel to:

4. Please take your parcel(s) to your post office. We recommend that you send returns by recorded post. Always retain proof of postage. Goods are returned at your own expense.
5. We will write to confirm your return has been processed. You will receive your refund credit, or exchange order (when in stock) within 2 to 3 weeks after you post the goods back to us.
6. Please note that refunds bought as presents can only be given to the original payer, and if you decide to swap an item, we can’t stop the payer knowing.

Legal Statements on Returns:

Returning any item within 28 days will be taken as notice of cancellation of your order (or relevant part of your order). Goods are provided to you on approval and legal title to the goods will not pass to you until the 28 day post-delivery period has expired. On receipt of the returned goods, Stone Bridge will give you a full refund of the amount paid for the goods (but not the postage) or an exchange credit as required. You must, however, return the goods to Stone Bridge on cancellation in order to receive a full refund or exchange. When returning goods on which you have received a discount/offer, that discount/offer will no longer apply if you fall below the discount/offer threshold and the refund will be adjusted accordingly. Your statutory rights on returns are not affected.

Privacy:

As with all shopping websites, we collect personal information from you when you shop online at Stone-Bridge.co.uk.

We use this information to make your shopping experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. We need it to process your order, inform you of any delays or problems and occasionally to let you know when new products have been added, which given the limited production numbers of most of our products will give you a chance to see our most popular designs before they sell out.

We use encryption to safeguard your credit card information and only accept orders from web browsers that permit communication through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This means you cannot accidentally place and order through and unsecured connection. Most web browsers above version three support this security.

This encryption makes if virtually impossible for unauthorised parties to read any information that you send us.

Data Protection:

Stone Bridge, which is wholly owned by Melissa Hill, is a registered data user under the Data Protection Act. We will never pass on your details to a third party for marketing purposes. We may send you details of offers from other companies that we think may interest you, but only with your permission.

There are only four circumstances were we may share some of your data with others:

• With agents (including credit reference agencies, credit card clearing agencies (Paypal and SagePay in the UK), fraud prevention and detection agencies) that we use to process your orders you place with us or who assist us in the service we provide to you. In these instances we provide them with only the information they need to perform their function.
• In the unlikely event that our business assets are ever sold to or purchased by another company. (Our data records are part of our business).
• To outside research companies whom we may ask to contact you directly for your opinions on our products and services (in which case we provide them with only the information they need to perform their function).
• We do occasionally make names and addresses (but never email addresses) available to companies whose products we think may interest you, unless you have told us not to.
