Antiopa was the Queen of the Amazons, possessed, according to Greek mythology, of an irresistible beauty. Our butterfly claw has been encrusted with 186 pave white Swarovski crystals, each heat-set by hand - not glued - for an extra secure setting. The butterfly has been made with the finest grade Italian celulose acetate in our shimmering black shell colour, shaped and then polished by hand, so there are no sharp edges to grab and damage your  hair. The spring is of a high quality sprung steel, ensuring a strong and comfortable hold that will last for years.

This design is very lightweight, so suitable for all hair types. However, it is particularly elegant in a messy pleat style for medium to thick hair or hair that is "fine but a lot of it." Very thick hair may need initial pinning, with the claw tucked into the style as a decorative finish. Very impressive in the hair.
