Thank you for choosing Stone Bridge hair accessories. My goal is to help you find your dream hair clip. There is nothing worse for a woman than a bad hair day, and I hope you will be able to find a clip or hair band to help you style your hair beautifully and easily every morning.

I started Stone Bridge in 2006, mostly so I could revel in my personal Aladdin's cave of fantastic Italian and French handmade hair accessories every morning, and to ensure my hair could be suitably dressed for those black tie functions that keep popping up in my diary.

There are a small number of factories in France and Italy that specialise in manufacturing the best quality cellulose acetate hair accessories. Most have been run by the same families for generations. Working with cellulose acetate (a form of plastic derived from cotton, not petroleum), getting the pigment and design set just right and then polishing off by hand, is a highly skilled profession. These products go through a ten day finishing process that must be done by hand. As such, the best hair accessories cannot be mass produced.

We also source couture hair accessories from specialist designers who are regarded as the very best in the business. Their pieces are virtually works of art, beautifully designed and meticulously hand finished. Whether you wear one of our designer hair flowers or headbands to lunch or to meet the Queen, you can be confident that your hair will look effortlessly elegant and groomed.
